UCLH Case study

University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Interserve, are working in partnership towards delivering a sustainable patient environment. After winning the Premises and Facilities Management Award for Partners in Healthcare 2009, the team is continuing to work and grow together by visiting America to share best practice and learn from leading hospitals in New York, Cleveland and Boston.

Interserve manages and delivers a range of fully integrated facilities management services, worth £10 million per annum over a period of 38 years, to the Trust’s estate. This patient-focused support services model puts the comfort, welfare and safety of the patient at the heart of all we do, so patients feel comfortable, cared for and safe.

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH), situated in the West End of London, is one of the largest NHS trusts in the United Kingdom and provides first class acute and specialist services.
