ProCure21+
The ProCure21+ framework has been designed to reflect the changing NHS landscape replacing the ProCure21 programme. It intends to retain the best of ProCure21, and improve its scope, control mechanisms and performance management.
Interserve undertook over 150 schemes on behalf of 50 NHS Trusts since the inception of the ProCure21 programme. Like ProCure21, Procure21+ will streamline and improve the procurement process for NHS Trusts across England, enabling them to select an appropriate supply chain partner to deliver acute, primary care and mental health facilities. As with ProCure21 there is a commitment to long-term relationships, collaborative working, integrated supply chains and the use of target-cost contracts.
Interserve has been successfully appointed to the new ProCure21+ framework as one of six Principle Supply Chain Partners, committed to working with the NHS and the Department of Health to provide high-quality schemes, on time and within budget.
By delivering added value through our supply chain, we will enhance innovation, continual improvement and standardisation throughout projects, participating in benchmarking and performance management.
The objective of the framework is to achieve successful delivery of any scheme:
- to the standard, functionality and quality that meets or exceeds NHS client requirements
- at a cost that offers best value for money, taking into account the whole life costs of the scheme
- to a timescale acceptable to the client without compromising health and safety
- with an appropriate allocation of risks
- demonstrating compliance with all applicable sustainability legislation and Department of Health guidance
- to participate in carbon reduction legislation that comes into force
- in a transparent and open relationship
